As part of its continued business expansion and commitment to providing the best possible customer service, Indigo Products has made a significant investment in a new fleet of vehicles. This follows its recent investment in a new website which, because it is fully responsive, allows customers to access information whenever they like, wherever they are on PCs, laptops, tablets and mobiles.
The new fleet has been selected to be as flexible as possible, so that different load sizes can be transported cost-effectively and on time. The fleet comprises a Mercedes Sprinter LWB panel van, seven DAF CF 250 18 tonne box tail lift Euro 6 sleep cab trucks, and two DAF LF 150 7.5 tonne box tail lift Euro 6 day cab trucks.
All of the trucks come with specialised load locking system, and sprung shoring poles to eliminate transit damage and to ensure that each load arrives at its destination in pristine condition. This is important as Indigo Products – the Midlands leading manufacturer of PVCu windows, doors and conservatories – is committed to delivering quality products to customers. Its products are designed with safety in mind, including PAS24 and Secured by Design options to meet the building regulations requirements in Approved Document Q.
Indigo’s fleet of vehicles is expected to cover 882,000 miles per annum, so this investment is a major step in ensuring that customers receive their doors and windows when they require them and important in enabling Indigo Products to drive the business forward.
